National Bus Sales makes Quality Management a core principal in the way we operate our business. From the products that we represent to the way we operate our day to day business, the quality of our business is paramount.
National represents 14+ bus manufacturers in the industry. A pre-requisite to NBS representing the manufacturer is the quality of the bus and the manufacturer. All buses we represent must have a steel cage and metal skin body. Through history and knowledge we have found this to be the highest quality product in the market. We also lean strongly to manufacturers who are Ford QVM as well as ISO 9000.
Internally, National practices many formal and informal guidelines to adhere to quality management. National’s internal and customer data is maintained by very sophisticated equipment which allows us to continue to operate our day to day operations in case something catastrophic happens to the equipment or building. National’s EMT includes a CFO and a team of accountants to ensure financial security. Our department managers are overseen by the EMT, giving two levels of oversight to day to day operations. We believe these practices translate into a higher level support and service to the end user
ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems. ISO 9000 is maintained by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies. Some of the requirements in ISO 9001 (which is one of the standards in the ISO 9000 family) include:
• a set of procedures that cover all key processes in the business;
• monitoring processes to ensure they are effective;
• keeping adequate records;
• checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary;
• regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness; and
• facilitating continual improvement
