How to Buy New and Used Buses

The Buying Process

The Buying process is the most important part of the decision to purchase a bus you will make. Our goal is to make sure you get the exact type of bus that meets your specific application.

The process starts with the salesmen addressing your needs to find out what type and size bus would best fit your application. Many times, the salesmen will offer several recommendations and help the customer narrow down the choices until they come to a final decision. From this point, the salesman finalizes the options and additional equipment on the bus and orders the bus. The average lead time for a new bus is approximately 6-8 weeks. Upon delivery from the factory, the bus is taken to one of our pre delivery inspection checkpoints and given a series of tests to make sure the body and chassis are in good working condition. After we verify all of the options ordered are on the bus, we give the bus a thorough detail inside and out. Depending on what is arranged in advance the customer will pick up the bus or have it delivered to their location. At this point, the Salesmen demonstrates the different features and options, goes over pertinent maintenance and warranty requirements and provides title and tag to the customer. After signing the delivery form the bus is officially the customer’s. Rest assured, as you will see on the service, parts and warranty pages, we’re always available to provide the after-sale support you need whenever and wherever you need it.
